Visitors to the First Co. Engineering Department will find a seasoned team of professional engineers and support personnel along with a full complement of the latest computerized development systems and test equipment including state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor environmental test chambers, and a sophisticated wind tunnel.
FIRST CO LIMITED WARRANTY FIRST CO products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of one year from the date of original installation or 18 months from the date of manufacture. Compressors are warranted for 5 years. A new or rebuilt part to replace any defective part that fails within the warranty period will be provided if the defective part is returned to the factory. The replacement part assumes the unused portion of the warranty. This warranty does not include labor or other costs incurred for diagnosing, repairing, removing, installing, shipping, servicing or handling of either defective parts or replacement parts. This warranty does not cover and First Co will not be responsible for: 1. Normal maintenance. 2. Shipping or handling damage. 3. Damage or repairs required as a consequence of faulty installation or misapplication of the product. 4. Failure of the product to operate due to voltage being more than plus or minus 5% of rated voltage, blown fuses, open circuit breakers, or other damages due to the inadequacy or interruption of electrical service. 5. Damage or repairs needed as a consequence of any misapplication, abuse, improper servicing, unauthorized alteration, or improper operation. 6. Damage as a result of floods, water damage, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, corrosive atmosphere, destructive environmental conditions, or other conditions beyond the control of First Co. 7. Operation of equipment outside the parameters described in the product bulletin. 8. Any special, indirect, consequential, property, or commercial damage of any nature whatsoever. Damage or destruction of the product by outside sources.
INTERNET SALES POLICY First Co warranty for all residential and commercial products are not available if sold through the Internet by an unauthorized First Co wholesale distributor. This condition applies to consumers purchasing products on the Internet, then self-installing (DIY) or not hiring the original contractor the distributor sold the original equipment to. The reasons are fairly obvious for the warranty policy….HVAC equipment is sensitive and its performance is highly dependent on the skill of the installer. WARNING TO INSTALLER, SERVICE PERSONNEL, AND OWNER Altering a First Co. product or replacing parts with non-authorized factory parts voids all warranty or implied warranty and may result in adverse operational performance and / or a possible hazardous safety condition to service personnel and occupants. First Co. employees and / or representatives are not authorized to waive this warning. Limitations of Warranty – This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties express or implied. The remedies provided for in this warranty are exclusive and shall constitute the only liabilities on the part of First Co. For Service or Repair you should contact the installer of the equipment or a licensed HVAC service company. If one is not available you should contact the nearest distributor for a recommended HVAC service company.

Delivery Acceptance Terms: If you receive a package that seems damaged or dented, please open the package in front of the driver and after inspection if you see the product has a severe damage you can refuse the package and call us immediately. We will then arrange a new shipment (Free Replacement) ASAP.
Please note: If the box looks visibly damaged, the product inside may still be in perfect condition as they are well padded for shipping purposes.
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN OR REFUSE THE PACKAGE WITHOUT INSPECTING THE CONDITION OF THE PRODUCT INSIDE. Please take pictures if needed, accept or refuse shipment based upon the condition of the product in the box, not based upon the condition of the box. Please remember if you signed off on a delivery document, insurance cannot be filed if cosmetic damage is found at a later date, as it is considered to have happened after delivery at jobsite.

DEFECTIVE EXCHANGE If unit (any product) is defective, depending upon the brand you buy, it will be taken care of by manufacturer warranty. Usually they will send out the replacement part within 24 hours, if replacing part is not a solution, they would probably replace the whole unit if the product was found defective. Replacement will only be made with the same model, if customer decides to upgrade or downgrade to a different model, we'll treat it as a return and a new order.
* All returns should be in original packaging and in brand new condition. Installed products are not considered brand new and cannot be returned.
* All damaged returns and replacements must be requested within 24 hours after the receipt of the product. *
Before shipping the product back, you should request an RA# (Return Authorization number), without an RA# your package will not be accepted, will be refused and sent back by the warehouse.
RETURNS For all returns, customer is responsible to ship product back to our warehouse at their own expense; restocking fee of 19% will apply regardless if defective and original shipping fee (from $69 to $189 depending upon the product you purchased) will not be refunded as it is paid to the trucking company's and they are non-refundable.
CANCELLATIONS If you placed the order and you wanted to cancel the order BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED, we will gladly cancel your order and $15.99 cancellation fee will be charged and 3% credit card processing charges will not be refunded. Please make sure that you call us within few hours after the order is placed. We ship the items out same or next business day. We cannot process cancellations after the product is shipped out. It will be considered as a return instead once the product is shipped and you will need to pay the return charges. If the delivery of the shipment is refused above return policy will apply. Once the item is shipped, the shipping company will not refund us the shipping fee back and will charge us for shipping both ways, this will not be refunded if cancelled after the product is shipped and 19% restocking fee will apply.
