The LG LMU24CHV is an 24,000 BTU class configurable tri-zone mini split air conditioning and heating system. LG's Flex Multi-Split Tri-Zone air conditioner system gives you the opportunity to install two or three independently operated, indoor units virtually anywhere in your home. The LMU24CHV offers a cooling capacity of 20,000 BTUs (with non-ducted units) and a combined connectivity BTU rating of up to 33,000. Although this is a three-port system, a minimum of two units must be connected. Connectable indoor units include both wall mounted and ceiling units.

The LMU24CHV is an Energy Star Rated mini-split air conditioner and heat system that is capable of year round comfort control in most of the United States. With its expanded cooling and heating parameters, it is capable of heating when outdoor temperatures are as cold as -4°F. Additionally, an optional drain pan heater is available (sold separately), to enhance the heating performance and range. If there is a need to keep your space cool, the cooling capabilities are great on this system as well. The system can operate in the cooling mode with outside temperatures as low as 14°F.

The LMU24CHV can accommodate various combinations of indoor units ranging from 7,000 BTUs up to 18,000 BTUs per zone. This flexibility of the various BTUs and unit types available allows you to customize your look to match the size and decor of the room you need to heat and cool. Each unit operates with its own remote or thermostat (depending on the units you choose). Unlike a central air system that heats and cools your entire house regardless of whether you are using the rooms or not, a mini-split system gives you complete control. Whether you are adding air conditioning to an existing structure or an extension, the LMU24CHV is easily installed without additional renovations. Each unit is installed with a small 3" hole in the wall, for the line set, that connects the indoor and outdoor units. Individual line sets are required for each indoor unit (sold separately).

Standard features of the LMU24CHV outdoor unit include an energy efficient variable speed inverter compressor, defrost/deicing capabilities, three minute restart delay, and a self diagnosis system. The outdoor unit also features a soft start to reduce power surges on the electrical system. It operates when the outside temperature is as low as 14°F in the cooling mode and from -4°F to 64°F in the heating mode. To top it all off, it uses environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant and is pre-charged for up to 73.8’ of line.

LG's flex, multi-split systems operate up to 8 interior units which are each mounted in a separate room. Each indoor unit has its own remote control, so each room can be set to different temperatures. The individual units are connected to a single exterior unit.

The Standard Wall Unit is available in several different sizes: LMN078HVT 7,000 BTUs, LSN090HSV5 9,000 BTUs, LSN120HSV5 12,000 BTUs, LMN157HVT 15,000 BTUs, LSN180HSV5 18,000 BTUs, and LMN247HVT 24,000 BTUs.
The 9000 BTUs will cool a room that is about 400 sq. ft. or about 20' x 20'. Factors such as windows, doors, computers and ceiling height must be factored in when calculating the BTUs you need for your specific installation requirements.

LG's LSN180HSV5 18,000 BTU indoor wall unit can be used with either the LSU180HSV5 single zone or multi zone (3 unit or more) outdoor units. SEER and EER are dependent on your system setup. The technical specs shown for this indoor unit reflect use in a multi-zone system. One of the main differences is the line set size used. When the LSN180HSV5 is used in a multi-zone application, it uses 1/4" x 1/2" line set. When used in a single zone application, it uses 3/8" x 5/8" line set.
The LG split systems include an inverter heat pump. Air conditioners with inverter technology use a variable speed compressor which continues to operate at a low speed to maintain the temperature. Conventional Air Conditioners use a constant speed compressor that completely shuts off once the temperature is achieved. A mini split is also quieter to operate and uses less energy than conventional air conditioners

  • LG Electronics, Inc. (“LG”) warrants your LG Duct-Free Split Air Conditioner (“product”) against defect in materials or workmanship under normal household use, and during the warranty period set forth below, LG will, at its option, repair or replace the product. Replacement part(s) will meet intended fit and function of the original part(s). Replacement parts are warranted for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period. This limited warranty is valid only to the original retail purchaser of the product while the system remains at the original installation site, and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser or user. Note: This limited warranty applies to parts only and does not cover labor.

COMPLETE DETAILS:

If you received a product that is "Dead On Arrival" we will replace it with brand new unit. You have 15 days from the date of delivery to notify us of the same.

Please make sure that you have an invoice from the licensed HVAC (or air conditioning company) with our model number AND serial number to receive any warranty. Replacement parts will be shipped and credit will be given when the part is returned to supplier. You will not receive credit for replacement units or warranty parts without proper documentation. Proper documents include an invoice from us and an invoice from a licensed installer. Our invoice will be emailed to you with the tracking number that you can print and save for future reference.

 

NO LABOR. THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES DO NOT INCLUDE LABOR or any other costs incurred for service, maintenance, repair, removing, replacing, installing, complying with local building and electric codes, shipping or handling, or replacement of the System, compressors or any other parts. For items that are designed to be maintained or replaced by the owner, the owner is solely responsible for all labor and other costs of maintaining, installing, replacing, disconnecting or dismantling the System and parts (such as filters or belts) in connection with owner-required maintenance. Air filter cleaning and/or replacement for each applicable indoor unit are owner-required maintenance, and labor for this procedure is not covered under warranty. Please consult the applicable technical documentation for air filter cleaning and other maintenance procedures.

D. Proper Installation. This Limited Warranty applies only to Systems that are installed by contractors who are licensed for HVAC installation under applicable local and state law, and who install the Systems in accordance with (i) all applicable building codes and permits; (ii) LG’s installation and operation instructions; and (iii) good trade practices.

BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE, please review the applicable technical documentation to insure proper installation and correct customer control adjustment for the System. If the problem persists, please arrange for warranty service.

1. TO OBTAIN WARRANTY PARTS SERVICE:

(a) Contact the licensed contractor who installed the System or the nearest licensed contractor, dealer or distributor of any defect within the applicable warranty time period.

(b) Proof of the installation date by a licensed contractor is required when requesting warranty service. Present the sales receipt, building permit or other document which establishes proof and date of installation. Otherwise, this Limited Warranty shall be deemed to begin one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of manufacture stamped on the System. THE RETURN OF THE OWNER REGISTRATION CARD IS NOT A CONDITION OF COVERAGE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. However, please return the Owner Registration Card so that LG can contact you if a question of safety arises.

(c) This Limited Warranty applies only while the System remains at the site of the original installation and only to locations within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.

2. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: property damages, malfunction or failure of the System, or personal injury caused by or resulting from: (a) accident, abuse, negligence or misuse; (b) operating the System in a corrosive or wet environment containing chlorine, fluorine or any other hazardous chemicals; (c) installation, alteration, repair or service by anyone other than a licensed contractor or other than pursuant to the manufacturer’s instructions; (d) improper matching of System components; (e) improper sizing of the System; (f) improper or deferred maintenance contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions; (g) physical abuse to or misuse of the System (including failure to perform any maintenance as described in the Operation Manual such as air filter cleaning, or any System damaged by excessive physical or electrical stress); (h) Systems that have had a serial number or any part thereof altered, defaced or removed; (i) System used in any manner contrary to the

Operation Manual; (j) freight damage; or (k) damage caused by force majeure or other factors such as power surge damage caused by lightning and fluctuations in or interruptions of electrical power.

3. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ALSO EXCLUDES: (a) SERVICE CALLS WHERE NO DEFECT IN THE SYSTEM COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS FOUND; (b) System installation or set-ups; (c) adjustments of user controls; or (d) Systems purchased or installed outside the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Consult the operating instructions for information regarding user controls.

4. This Limited Warranty shall not be enlarged, extended or affected by, and no obligation or liability shall arise or grow out of, LG providing, directly or indirectly, any technical advice, information and/or service to Owner in connection with the System.

5. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, LG MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER REGARDING THE SYSTEM. LG DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN AND ALL REMEDIES WHICH, BUT FOR THIS PROVISION, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION OR OPERATION OF LAW, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO ONE IS AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IN ANY RESPECT OR TO CREATE ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY FOR LG IN CONNECTION WITH THE SYSTEM. LG DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS AND CONDUCT OF ALL THIRD PARTIES (including, without limitation, the installing contractor) IN CONNECTION WITH OR RELATED TO THE SYSTEM.

6. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL LG BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST GOODWILL, LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, WORK STOPPAGE, SYSTEM FAILURE, IMPAIRMENT OF OTHER GOODS, COSTS OF REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF THE SYSTEM, LOSS OF USE, INJURY TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OR RELATED TO THE SYSTEM WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF LG HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. IN NO EVENT SHALL LG’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE SYSTEM WITH RESPECT TO WHICH ANY CLAIM IS MADE.

7. Some states do not allow limitations on warranties or exclusions or limitation of damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply.

8. This Limited Warranty gives the owner specific legal rights and the owner may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

9. This Limited Warranty is valid only in the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii, and it is not transferable.

IN NO EVENT SHALL LG’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE SYSTEM WITH RESPECT TO WHICH ANY CLAIM IS MADE.

  • LG Electronics, Inc. (“LG”) warrants your LG Duct-Free Split Air Conditioner (“product”) against defect in materials or workmanship under normal household use, and during the warranty period set forth below, LG will, at its option, repair or replace the product. Replacement part(s) will meet intended fit and function of the original part(s). Replacement parts are warranted for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period. This limited warranty is valid only to the original retail purchaser of the product while the system remains at the original installation site, and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser or user. Note: This limited warranty applies to parts only and does not cover labor.

COMPLETE DETAILS:

If you received a product that is "Dead On Arrival" we will replace it with brand new unit. You have 15 days from the date of delivery to notify us of the same.

Please make sure that you have an invoice from the licensed HVAC (or air conditioning company) with our model number AND serial number to receive any warranty. Replacement parts will be shipped and credit will be given when the part is returned to supplier. You will not receive credit for replacement units or warranty parts without proper documentation. Proper documents include an invoice from us and an invoice from a licensed installer. Our invoice will be emailed to you with the tracking number that you can print and save for future reference.

 

NO LABOR. THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES DO NOT INCLUDE LABOR or any other costs incurred for service, maintenance, repair, removing, replacing, installing, complying with local building and electric codes, shipping or handling, or replacement of the System, compressors or any other parts. For items that are designed to be maintained or replaced by the owner, the owner is solely responsible for all labor and other costs of maintaining, installing, replacing, disconnecting or dismantling the System and parts (such as filters or belts) in connection with owner-required maintenance. Air filter cleaning and/or replacement for each applicable indoor unit are owner-required maintenance, and labor for this procedure is not covered under warranty. Please consult the applicable technical documentation for air filter cleaning and other maintenance procedures.

D. Proper Installation. This Limited Warranty applies only to Systems that are installed by contractors who are licensed for HVAC installation under applicable local and state law, and who install the Systems in accordance with (i) all applicable building codes and permits; (ii) LG’s installation and operation instructions; and (iii) good trade practices.

BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE, please review the applicable technical documentation to insure proper installation and correct customer control adjustment for the System. If the problem persists, please arrange for warranty service.

1. TO OBTAIN WARRANTY PARTS SERVICE:

(a) Contact the licensed contractor who installed the System or the nearest licensed contractor, dealer or distributor of any defect within the applicable warranty time period.

(b) Proof of the installation date by a licensed contractor is required when requesting warranty service. Present the sales receipt, building permit or other document which establishes proof and date of installation. Otherwise, this Limited Warranty shall be deemed to begin one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of manufacture stamped on the System. THE RETURN OF THE OWNER REGISTRATION CARD IS NOT A CONDITION OF COVERAGE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. However, please return the Owner Registration Card so that LG can contact you if a question of safety arises.

(c) This Limited Warranty applies only while the System remains at the site of the original installation and only to locations within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.

2. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: property damages, malfunction or failure of the System, or personal injury caused by or resulting from: (a) accident, abuse, negligence or misuse; (b) operating the System in a corrosive or wet environment containing chlorine, fluorine or any other hazardous chemicals; (c) installation, alteration, repair or service by anyone other than a licensed contractor or other than pursuant to the manufacturer’s instructions; (d) improper matching of System components; (e) improper sizing of the System; (f) improper or deferred maintenance contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions; (g) physical abuse to or misuse of the System (including failure to perform any maintenance as described in the Operation Manual such as air filter cleaning, or any System damaged by excessive physical or electrical stress); (h) Systems that have had a serial number or any part thereof altered, defaced or removed; (i) System used in any manner contrary to the

Operation Manual; (j) freight damage; or (k) damage caused by force majeure or other factors such as power surge damage caused by lightning and fluctuations in or interruptions of electrical power.

3. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ALSO EXCLUDES: (a) SERVICE CALLS WHERE NO DEFECT IN THE SYSTEM COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS FOUND; (b) System installation or set-ups; (c) adjustments of user controls; or (d) Systems purchased or installed outside the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Consult the operating instructions for information regarding user controls.

4. This Limited Warranty shall not be enlarged, extended or affected by, and no obligation or liability shall arise or grow out of, LG providing, directly or indirectly, any technical advice, information and/or service to Owner in connection with the System.

5. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, LG MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER REGARDING THE SYSTEM. LG DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN AND ALL REMEDIES WHICH, BUT FOR THIS PROVISION, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION OR OPERATION OF LAW, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO ONE IS AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IN ANY RESPECT OR TO CREATE ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY FOR LG IN CONNECTION WITH THE SYSTEM. LG DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS AND CONDUCT OF ALL THIRD PARTIES (including, without limitation, the installing contractor) IN CONNECTION WITH OR RELATED TO THE SYSTEM.

6. SHIPPING DETAILS

Mostly All Of Our Products Are Shipped Same Or Next Day

Your product will be mostly shipped using Freight Company such as SAIA, ESTES, Old Dominion, FEDEX or UPS and will be delivered in 1-5 business days depending upon your geographical location from our warehouses. We ship products from warehouses in NY, NJ, FL, CA,AZ, TX And MO. Mostly if you are close to our warehouses, you should receive the Product in 1-3 business days. We will email you your tracking number soon as its shipped out or you can log into your account on our website by using your email address and password you created at the time of placing order to check all the shipment and product details.
Please remember we only ship to 48 states within United States. Due to expensive shipment fee we do not ship to Hawaii & Alaska. We do not ship to Canada, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and other countries due to custom issues.

Though above shipment and delivery process is what we normally practice, under unforseen circumstances they cannot be guaranteed at all times. But we do our best and mostly succeed to ship the product either same or the next day.

Overnight Shipping Details (if required)

We can ship overnight or by Second Day Air. But beacuse these are air conditioners and the package weighs more than 90 pounds usually, shipping overnight can result in the package being mishandled and delivered damaged. Plus it cost anywhere from $180-$850 more than regular shipping depending upon your location from our warehouse. Feel free to email us with such enquiries.

Delivery Acceptance Terms:
If you receive a package that seems damaged or dented, please open the package in front of the driver and after inspection if you see the product has a severe damage you can refuse the package and call us immediately. We will then arrange a new shipment (Free Replacement) ASAP.

Please note: If the box looks visibly damaged, the product inside may still be in perfect condition as they are well padded for shipping purposes.

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN OR REFUSE THE PACKAGE WITHOUT INSPECTING THE CONDITION OF THE PRODUCT INSIDE. Please take pictures if needed, accept or refuse shipment based upon the condition of the product in the box, not based upon the condition of the box. Please remember if you signed off on a delivery document, insurance cannot be filed if cosmetic damage is found at a later date, as it is considered to have happened after delivery at jobsite.

DEFECTIVE EXCHANGE
If unit (any product) is defective, depending upon the brand you buy, it will be taken care of by manufacturer warranty. Usually they will send out the replacement part within 24 hours, if replacing part is not a solution, they would probably replace the whole unit if the product was found defective. Replacement will only be made with the same model, if customer decides to upgrade or downgrade to a different model, we'll treat it as a return and a new order.

* All returns should be in original packaging and in brand new condition. Installed products are not considered brand new and cannot be returned.

* All damaged returns and replacements must be requested within 24 hours after the receipt of the product. *

Before shipping the product back, you should request an RA# (Return Authorization number), without an RA# your package will not be accepted, will be refused and sent back by the warehouse.


RETURNS
For all returns, customer is responsible to ship product back to our warehouse at their own expense; restocking fee of 19% will apply regardless if defective and original shipping fee (from $69 to $189 depending upon the product you purchased) will not be refunded as it is paid to the trucking company's and they are non-refundable.

CANCELLATIONS
If you placed the order and you wanted to cancel the order BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED, we will gladly cancel your order and $15.99 cancellation fee will be charged and 3% credit card processing charges will not be refunded. Please make sure that you call us within few hours after the order is placed. We ship the items out same or next business day. We cannot process cancellations after the product is shipped out. It will be considered as a return instead once the product is shipped and you will need to pay the return charges. If the delivery of the shipment is refused above return policy will apply. Once the item is shipped, the shipping company will not refund us the shipping fee back and will charge us for shipping both ways, this will not be refunded if cancelled after the product is shipped and 19% restocking fee will apply.
